Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 6 item
- anise extract/powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped nuts 1/2 c - 1 c
How to make biscotti:
Add sugar to beaten eggs; beat well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well but do not overbeat. Spoon batter on greased cookie sheet, forming 3 rows lengthwise. Bake 18 minutes at 375°. Remove loaves from oven and cut into 1/2-inch slices. Lay slices flat on cookie sheet and return to oven to brown lightly: 5 minutes at 350°, turn, and then 5 minutes more at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Biscotti.
