Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- confectioners sugar
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- warm water - 1 Tbsp
- almond flavoring - 1 tsp
- whole cranberry sauce - 7 8
- sour cream 1 c - 1/2 pt
How to make cranberry swirl coffee cake:
Topping:3/4 c. confectioners sugar1/2 tsp. almond flavoring1 Tbsp. warm water Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Sift dry ingredients and add, alternating with sour cream. Add flavoring. Grease tube or Bundt pan. Put all the batter in, then swirl in the cranberry sauce. Sprinkle nuts on top (optional). Bake for 55 minutes at 350°.
