Cranberry chutney
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- ground ginger
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
- golden raisins - 1/2 c
- fresh cranberries - 1 lb
- chopped cooking apples - 1 c
How to make cranberry chutney:
Combine first 9 ingredients. Cook over medium heat. Stir until cranberries release. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Chill. Keeps about 2 weeks in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Sauces, Chutneys.
