Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • ground ginger
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
  • golden raisins - 1/2 c
  • fresh cranberries - 1 lb
  • chopped cooking apples - 1 c

How to make cranberry chutney:

Combine first 9 ingredients. Cook over medium heat. Stir until cranberries release. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Chill. Keeps about 2 weeks in refrigerator.
