Country chicken on a biscuit
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- marjoram leaves - 1/4 tsp
- cubed cooked chicken
- dash of celery salt - 1 item
- dash of onion salt - 1 item
- instant bouillon - 6 bouillon
- dash of turmeric - 1 item
- Green Giant mixed vegetables in butter sauce * - 10 oz
How to make country chicken on a biscuit:
In large saucepan, combine 2 cups water and bouillon; heat until bouillon dissolves. Remove frozen vegetables from pouch and add to broth; heat until thawed. Combine flour with 1/2 cup water; stir until smooth. Add to broth-vegetable mix. Heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth. Add remaining ingredients; heat through. Serve over hot baking powder biscuits. Serves 4.*Or add 1/4 - 1/3 cup butter to plain frozen vegetables.
