Ingredients/Components
- large apples, chopped - 3 item
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- oil
- plain flour - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Mix sugar and eggs until creamy
- milk - 3/4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
How to make fresh apple cake:
Peel apples and chop; set aside. Mix sugar and eggs until creamy. Sift together the flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Mix dry ingredients, oil and vanilla into egg mixture. Add apples. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°.Caramel Frosting:2 1/2 c. sugar3/4 c. milk1 stick butter Cook 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet until brown.
