Conch fritters
Ingredients/Components
- self-rising flour - 4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion salt - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- seasoned salt - 1/2 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1/3 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- seafood seasoning - 1 tsp
- lemon pepper seasoning - 1/3 tsp
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- garlic powder to taste - 1 item
- conch, tenderized and cut into small squares - 2 lb
How to make conch fritters:
Combine flour and dry ingredients. Add a little water at a time to batter consistency. Add conch, green pepper and onion; mix well. Spoon batter into skillet of hot oil over medium heat to form small balls the size of hush puppies. Turn occasionally until golden brown.
