Ingredients/Components
- head cabbage - 1 item
- medium size green pepper - 1 item
- medium size onion - 1 item
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dried mustard - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- salad oil - 2/3 c
How to make cole slaw:
Chop the cabbage, green pepper and onion; mix well and refrigerate. Mix together the sugar, salt, dried mustard, celery seed, vinegar and oil; boil until the sugar is well dissolved. Let cool and then pour over the cole slaw mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
