Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- sifted all-purpose flour
- broken nuts - 1/2 c
- salad oil or melted shortening - 1/4 c
How to make coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. melted butter1/2 c. broken nuts Combine salad oil, egg and milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to milk mixture; mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.Topping: Combine ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake in moderate oven (375°) about 25 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
