Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • melted margarine - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item

How to make coffee cake:

Beat eggs. Add sugar, butter, dry ingredients and vanilla. Pour half of batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread cherry pie filling, then remainder of batter. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle top with powdered sugar while hot.
