Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 qt
- salt
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- cans minced clams - 2 item
- onions, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- potatoes, chopped - 2 c
How to make clam chowder:
Drain juice from clams and pour over vegetables. In small pan, add enough water to cover vegetables. Simmer until tender. Meanwhile, melt butter and add flour and blend. Cook. Stir constantly. Add half and half. Cook and stir with wire whip untRecipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
