Corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- cut bacon - 1/4 c
- finely diced raw potatoes - 2 c
- finely cut celery - 1/2 c
- cans cream-style corn #303 - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- finely cut carrots - 1/2 c
- milk - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make corn chowder:
Saute bacon and onion. Add 1 cup boiling water to sauteed mixture. Add potatoes, carrots and celery and cook until tender. Then add milk, cream-style corn, salt and pepper. Heat through.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
