Cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 item
- water - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- oleo - 6 Tbsp
- Crisco oil - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- melted oleo - 2 Tbsp
- When lukewarm, add yeast, sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Scald milk. When lukewarm, add yeast, sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour. When bubbly, add salt, eggs, oil and 1 1/2 cups flour. Knead well. Let rise until double. Roll 1/4-inch thick. Spread with 6 tablespoons of oleo. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar as desired. Roll. Cut in 1 1/2-inch slices. Place in greased pan.Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. melted oleo1/4 c. water Mix brown sugar, oleo and water. Pour over top of rolls. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
