Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2 2
- melted butter
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 1/4 c
- seedless raisins - 1/4 c
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Filling:2 Tbsp. melted butter3 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. seedless raisins Combine 1 cup flour and yeast in bowl. In a quart saucepan, combine milk, butter, sugar and salt; heat until warm. Add to flour. Add egg. Beat 1/2 minute at low speed scraping bowl. Then beat 3 minutes on high speed. Add 1/2 cup flour and beat 1 minute longer. Stir in enough flour and make a soft dough. Knead 5 to 10 minutes until smooth. Place in buttered bowl; let rise on a rack over hot water until doubled in bulk.On a lightly floured board, roll out to measure 8 x 15-inches. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle raisins. Roll lengthwise as for jelly roll. Cut into 1/4-inch slices and place, cut side up, into a buttered square pan. Cover and let stand until doubled (30 to 40 minutes). Bake at 375° for 25 to 35 minutes. Brush with melted butter and give top of rolls some sugar.
