Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- diced celery - 3 c
- mushrooms - 12 oz
- can bean sprouts - 1 item
- large diced onions - 3 item
- diced pork - 1 lb
- bead molasses - 1 item
- can chop suey vegetables - 1 item
- diced beef - 2 lb
How to make chop suey:
Brown meats; cook onions and celery in water. Add browned meat. Add bean sprouts, vegetables and mushrooms. Simmer to blend flavor. This is your liquid or broth. Make a paste of the cornstarch and add to broth to make it thick like gravy. Season with the soy sauce and bead molasses to make the brown color you like.Serve over rice or noodles.
