Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- cube butter - 1 item
- coconut and nuts - 1 c
- Icing:1 cube butter
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Icing:1 cube butter1/2 c. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla4 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. coconut and nuts Sift flour with cocoa and sugar. Combine butter, water and oil in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour at once over flour mixture. Combine buttermilk and soda, then add eggs and vanilla to buttermilk. Combine all mixtures and blend well by hand. Pour into 11 x 16-inch sheet cake pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Icing: Mix powdered sugar and cocoa; add coconut and walnuts. Heat batter and milk in saucepan. Add vanilla. Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients and mix well. Pour over cooled cake.
