Ingredients/Components
- cup margarine - 1/2 item
- cup water - 1 item
- cup shortening - 1/2 item
- tablespoons cocoa - 2 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- cup buttermilk - 1/2 item
- teaspoon soda - 1 item
- eggs - 2 item
- teaspoon vanilla - 1 item
- Bring to a boil and pour over sifted sugar and flour
- tablespoons milk - 8 item
- pound powdered sugar - 1 item
- cup chopped pecans - 1/2 item
How to make chocolate sheath cake:
Combine margarine, water, shortening and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to a boil and pour over sifted sugar and flour. Mix well. Add buttermilk with soda added, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into 9 X 12 pan that has been sprayed with PAM or greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.Icing:1/2 cup margarine8 tablespoons milk4 tablespoons cocoa1 pound powdered sugar1 teaspoon vanilla1/2 cup chopped pecans Combine margarine, milk and cocoa in pan and bring to boil.
