- pound powdered sugar - 1 item

- Icing:1/4 pound margarine
How to make red velvet cake:
Icing:1/4 pound margarine1 pound powdered sugar1 cup pecans8 ounces cream cheese1 teaspoon vanilla Make cake by mixing all ingredients and beating 2 minutes. Pour into 4 round layer cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool cake before icing.To make icing beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla until creamy. Add powdered sugar. Spread icing between layers and on top and sides of cake. Also top each layer with pecans.
