Lemon squares
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- oleo - 1/2 c
How to make lemon squares:
Combine first 3 ingredients and press into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and spread on baked crust. Return to oven and bake 18 minutes. Cool.Frost with a frosting of 1 tsp. oleo, juice of 1 lemon and enough powdered sugar to make it of spreading consistency.
(Instead of first 3 ingredients, I like to use the cheesecake crust. The proceed with Lemon Squares.)
