Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • oleo - 1/2 c

How to make lemon squares:

Combine first 3 ingredients and press into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and spread on baked crust. Return to oven and bake 18 minutes. Cool.

Frost with a frosting of 1 tsp. oleo, juice of 1 lemon and enough powdered sugar to make it of spreading consistency.

(Instead of first 3 ingredients, I like to use the cheesecake crust. The proceed with Lemon Squares.)
