- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 sq
- plain flour - 3 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Add eggs, one at a time
- little milk as needed - 1 item
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream real well the margarine, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Measure, then sift flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Sift all 2 times, then add milk, vanilla and nuts. Bake in tube pan at 325° for 90 minutes.Icing:1 box powdered sugar2 Tbsp. margarine2 sq. unsweetened chocolate little milk (as needed) Melt margarine and chocolate squares; stir.
