Chocolate bavarian pie
Ingredients/Components
- envelope unflavored gelatin - 1 item
- cold water - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- Pet milk, divided - 1-2/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- graham cracker crust - 1 item
- Hershey bar - 1 item
How to make chocolate bavarian pie:
Soften in a 1-qt. saucepan the gelatin in cold water. Stir in sugar, cocoa and salt. Stir over medium heat until gelatin and sugar dissolve completely, about 5 minutes. Don't boil. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 c. Pet milk. Chill in small bowl until firm. Beat in with mixture at low speed until mixture is broken up. Add 2/3 cup Pet milk and the vanilla. Beat at high speed until mixture fills bowl. Let stand a few minutes or until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon. Heap into a graham cracker crust. Shave a Hershey bar over the top. Chill.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
