Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- chicken wings - 3 lb
How to make chinese chicken wings:
Bake chicken at 400° for 30 minutes. Mix all other ingredients (dry first, then add liquid). Cook, stirring constantly over medium/high heat until thick. Allow to boil gently for 3 minutes. Brush over chicken. Continue baking 40 minutes, basting with sauce every 10 minutes. Broil the last couple of minutes.
