Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- water
- shredded Jack cheese - 3/4 lb
- steamed rice - 1 c
- diced Ortega chilies or more - 1 c
- Cheddar for top - 2 c
How to make chili rice casserole:
Steam rice 25 minutes. Mix all ingredients and top with Cheddar in 2 1/2-quart casserole. Place in oven for about 30 minutes at 350°. Could add cooked chicken or beef.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Casseroles.
