Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/2 pkg
- can kidney beans - 1 lb
- pinch of garlic - 1 item
- small Vidalia onion, minced - 1 item
How to make chili mac:
Boil macaroni according to directions; drain and set aside until cool. Simmer ground beef until brown. Add onion and garlic. Stir occasionally. Add macaroni, water, kidney beans and chili powder. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove top and spread cheese evenly on top. Replace top until cheese melts and remove from heat.
