Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 2 4
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- cans tomatoes - 2 oz
- cans kidney beans - 2 oz
- cayenne red pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make chili con carne:
In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, about 30 minutes. Stir in beans; heat until bubbly. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
