Chili con carne with tomatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 1/2
- cayenne red pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make chili con carne with tomatoes:
In large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes (with liquid) and remaining ingredient except kidney beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in kidney beans; heat through.
