- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 item
How to make chili beans:
Cook ground beef and onion until brown; pour off fat. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
