- garlic powder - 1 clove
- chili powder - 1 to
- hamburger meat - 2 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- black pepper
- medium onion 2-inch in diameter - 1 item
How to make chili beans:
Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce in heavy skillet. Cook until meat loses its pink color and onion becomes transparent. Add tomato sauce and simmer 30 minutes to an hour. Put with one can pintos and 1 can kidney beans. Brown meat and add other ingredients and simmer on low all day in crock-pot.This is especially good served with rice and a green salad for a quick and easy meal.
