Ingredients/Components
- round steak, coarsely ground - 3 lb
- suet, finely chopped - 1/8 lb
- chili powder - 6 Tbsp
- ground cumin - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
- large cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- Tabasco sauce - 1 tsp
- ground oregano - 1 Tbsp
- water
- white corn meal masa harina - 1/2 c
How to make chili:
Brown meats. Drain. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic, Tabasco, oregano and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add cornmeal and cook 30 minutes uncovered.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
