Chicken vegetable casserole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions - 3 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 3 c
- cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- cans water chestnuts - 3 oz
- cans mushrooms - 3 oz
- cooked chicken or turkey - 8 c
- frozen California Blend of cauliflower, carrots and broccoli
- slivered almonds or croutons - 1 c
How to make chicken vegetable casserole:
Cut up chicken. Combine chicken, soup, water chestnuts, mushrooms, frozen vegetables, cheese and onions. Pour into a roasting pan and bake, covered, at 360° for 1 hour. Remove cover and stir. Sprinkle with almonds or croutons and bake 15 to 30 minutes more.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
