Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- poultry seasoning - 1/2 tsp
- salt or less - 1 tsp
- cream or canned milk - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms canned or fresh - 1 c
- diced soy chicken canned, save juice - 2 c
- chicken broth water plus 4 tsp - 2 c
- spaghetti, broken 4 c - 2 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Saute onions and mushrooms in margarine. Stir in flour. Add broth and cream. Add seasonings, chicken and juice. Add cooked spaghetti. Put in a 9 x 9-inch glass dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered. Serves 6.Can add green pepper and pimento.
