Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- skim milk - 2 c
- sliced fresh mushrooms - 3 c
- minced onion - 1/3 c
- sherry - 1/4 c
- light cream cheese - 1/4 c
- uncooked spaghetti - 7 oz
- grated Parmesan cheese, divided - 1/4 c
- canned chicken broth
- jar diced pimento - 2 oz
- chopped cooked chicken about 3/4 lb - 2 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Melt margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onions; saute 7 minutes or until liquid evaporates. Stir in all-purpose flour, gradually adding chicken broth, skim milk and light cream cheese. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes. SRecipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
