Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 1 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- vermicelli - 2 c
- chopped pimento - 1 item
- water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- cooked, cut up chicken - 4 c
- onion, mushrooms and green peppers - 1/4 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Saut?© onion, mushrooms and green peppers. Cook vermicelli. Mix all ingredients. If desired, add 3 tablespoons Sauterne wine over top, then add bread crumbs mixed with parsley and melted butter and sprinkle on top. Bake in 13 x 9 baking dish at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
