- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
- boneless chicken, cut into bite-size pieces - 1 lb
- mushroom pieces with juice optional - 8 oz
- smallest egg noodles - 1 pkg
How to make chicken stroganoff:
Brown chicken in 1 tablespoon margarine. Add soup and sour cream slowly until well blended, then add mushroom pieces with juice. Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Serve over cooked noodles.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
