- diced onion - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- diced celery - 1 c
- peas - 1 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- rice or noodles - 1 c
- whole stewing hen - 1 item
How to make chicken soup:
In a large kettle seasoned with salt and pepper, simmer chicken in water until tender. Remove meat, debone and slice in bite sized pieces. Return to kettle. Add vegetables and rice or noodles.
