Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- diced onion - 1 c
- diced green pepper - 1/2 c
- can chicken broth - 1 1/2
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- diced celery - 1 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- diced potatoes - 1 c
- jar Cheez Whiz - 1 oz
- diced broccoli - 2 c
- butter for sauteing - 1 item
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Melt butter in frypan. Add onions, carrots, potatoes, celery, broccoli and green peppers; saute until tender. Then add broth. Gradually add milk to flour, then combine with broth and vegetables in a large pot. Bring to a boil and let thicken for 5 to 10 minutes. Add Cheez Whiz and salt and pepper to taste.
