  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • stick margarine - 1/4 item
  • evaporated milk - 2/3 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • cooked chicken, diced - 3 4
  • chicken stock - 2 c
  • can carrots, drained - 1 item
  • pie shells - 2 item
  • can garden peas, drained - 1 item

How to make chicken pot pie:

Preheat oven to 450°. Heat butter, flour, salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Stir in chicken and vegetables. Cook on low heat until mixture thickens. Spread 1 pie crust over bottom of a 3-quart baking dish. Add chicken mixture. Cover with remaining pie crust. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
