- cubed ham - 1 c
- chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten
- Cheese Sauce - 1 item
- butter oleo - 1/4 c
- bread crumbs
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- oleo
- flour
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- shredded American cheese - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make scrambled egg casserole:
Cheese Sauce:2 Tbsp. oleo2 1/2 Tbsp. flour2 c. milk1/2 tsp. salt1 c. shredded American cheese1/8 tsp. pepper Cheese Sauce: Melt oleo. Add flour. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk. Cook until thick. Add salt, pepper and cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and smooth.Saute ham and onions in 3 tablespoons oleo. Add eggs. Cook over medium heat, stirring to form large, soft curds. Stir in cheese sauce. Spoon eggs into greased 9 x 13-inch dish. Mix 1/4 cup melted oleo and bread crumbs. Spread over eggs. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover; chill overnight. Uncover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
