Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/2 Tbsp
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- grated cheese - 4 6
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- green peppers, sliced - 2 item
- chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- diagonally sliced celery
- can mixed vegetables, drained - 1 item
- box chopped broccoli - 1 oz
- Pet-Ritz pie crusts - 2 item
- sliced or quartered onion - 1 c
- beef broth fat removed - 2 c
- chicken breasts or 1 whole fryer chicken - 6 item
- boneless round steak, cut into thin strips - 1 lb
How to make chicken pot pie:
Spray a large skillet with a nonstick coating. Stir-fry beef strips until browned. Add all but the last 3 ingredients and simmer, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch with soy sauce and water. Stir into hot mixture and continue cooking until thickened.
