- stick margarine - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- chicken - 2 to
- can cream of chicken or mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Cook chicken until tender. Remove from bones; keep broth. Cut chicken into small pieces and place into 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix broth and soup and bring to boil; pour over chicken. Mix melted margarine, salt, pepper and buttermilk thoroughly to form batter. Spoon over top. Bake at 425° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
