Ingredients/Components
- whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned - 3 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- tomato sauce - 1 (15
- dried whole basil - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced and cut into triangles - 8 oz
How to make chicken parmigiana:
Place each chicken breast on a piece of waxed paper. Flatten to 1/4-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin. Combine eggs, salt and pepper. Dip each piece into egg mixture.
