Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- cans Italian style stewed tomatoes - 2 1/2
- chicken breast halves, skinned and boned - 4 item
- oregano if desired - 1/2 tsp
How to make chicken parmesan:
Preheat oven to 425°. Place chicken into an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. In a saucepan, combine tomatoes, cornstarch and oregano. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Pour heated sauce over chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 5 minutes more.
