Chicken paprika
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 3 item
- wide noodles - 1 item
- cut up fryer - 1 item
- water enough to cover chicken - 1 item
- paprika approximately - 1 Tbsp
- potatoes or amount that you want - 4 item
How to make chicken paprika:
Saute onions and chicken in hot oil. Add paprika. Add water to cover chicken. Add potatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. When done, take chicken out. Take meat off bones and put meat back into the pan with broth. Cook wide noodles. Add to broth. Serve with sour cream and vinegar. (You may add a small amount of sour cream and vinegar to the pot, if you like.)You can use this same recipe and substitute kielbasa, sausage or chicken gizzards.
