Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 tsp
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • ginger - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped celery - 2 c
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped green onions - 4 item
  • white pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • sliced mushrooms - 1 c
  • snow peas - 1/4 lb
  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces - 3 item

How to make moo goo gai pan:

Add tablespoon oil to wok; heat on medium high. Add snow peas, mushrooms and onions; stir-fry 2 minutes. Remove from wok and set aside. In small cup, mix the cornstarch, salt, ginger and pepper; set aside. Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to wok. Add chicken and cornstarch mixture; stir-fry until chicken turns white. Stir in snow pea mixture and soy sauce; stir-fry 3 minutes. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
