Chicken noodle soup
Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cans chicken broth - 3 3/4
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans water - 4 3/4
- dried thyme - 1/4 tsp
- stalks celery, diagonally sliced - 2 item
- uncooked noodles
- season salt - 1 tsp
- green onions, diagonally sliced - 2 item
- medium carrots, diagonally sliced - 2 item
How to make chicken noodle soup:
Heat broth, water, carrots, onions and seasoning to boiling in a Dutch oven (large pot). Simmer until carrots are tender. Stir in chicken and noodles. Heat to boiling. Simmer to boiling for 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in green onions.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
