Chicken noodle soup



  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • seasoning salt - 1 tsp
  • uncooked noodles
  • soup cans water - 4 item
  • can condensed chicken broth
  • green onions, diagonally sliced - 2 item
  • cooked, cut up chicken - 3 c
  • medium carrots, diagonally sliced - 2 item
  • celery stalks, diagonally sliced - 2 item
  • crushed dried thyme - 1/4 tsp

How to make chicken noodle soup:

Heat broth, water, carrots, celery, onion and seasonings to boiling in Dutch oven. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until carrots are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in chicken and noodles. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in onions.
