Chicken kiev
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 2/3 c
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Parmesan cheese - 4 Tbsp
- dry white wine - 1/4 c
- oregano - 2 tsp
- parsley - 1/4 c
- basil leaves - 2 tsp
- chicken breasts - 4 item
- fine dry bread crumbs, toasted - 1 c
How to make chicken kiev:
Melt margarine. Meanwhile, on wax paper, combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken in margarine and roll in crumbs to coat. Place in ungreased baking dish. Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes.Meanwhile, add wine, onion and parsley to remaining melted margarine. When chicken is golden brown, pour margarine sauce around and over. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve with sauce spooned over.
