Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- ground beef
- oregano - 1 tsp
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 lb
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- basil leaves - 1 tsp
- carton cottage cheese - 1 item
- lasagna noodles, cooked - 1 item
- tomatoes - 1 qt
How to make baked lasagna:
Sauce:2 lb. ground beef1 c. chopped onion1 qt. tomatoes15 oz. can tomato sauce1 1/2 Tbsp. parsley1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. salt1 tsp. basil leaves Cook beef and onion until brown; drain fat. Add next six sauce ingredients and cook until thick. Mix cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan, parsley, salt and oregano.In 9 x 13-inch dish, layer half of noodles, 1/2 sauce mixture, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture and 1/2 of Mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with sauce on top. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.
