Chicken cornbread casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 8 oz
- stick margarine - 2/3 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- broth
- cornbread dressing - 1 pkg
- chicken, boiled, boned and skinned or 4 to 6 chicken breasts - 1 item
How to make chicken cornbread casserole:
Melt oleo and 1/2 dressing. Put in bottom of baking dish. Layer remaining ingredients in this order: chicken, sour cream, soup and milk mixed, remainder of dressing. Pour broth over top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.This dish freezes well for later meals. Serves 8 to 10.
