Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- stalks celery - 3 item
- onion - 1/2 item
- whole chicken - 1 item
- Stove Top stuffing - 1 pkg
- can cream of celery soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook whole chicken on top of stove simmering until done. Also add the onion and celery. After chicken is cooked and cooled, bone and cut into small pieces. Place in bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking pan. Then heat in pot 1 cup of the chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup. When hot, pour over chicken. Prepare Stove Top stuffing, according to directions. Then sprinkle over casserole. Bake in oven for approximately 1/2 hour at 350°, uncovered.
