Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- small can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- salt, pepper to taste - 1 item
- Topping: Ritz crackers
- cooked chicken, drained - 2 c
How to make chicken casserole:
Topping: Ritz crackers1/2 c. margarine Saute celery and onion in a saucepan. In a large bowl, mix celery, onion and remaining ingredients. Place in a buttered casserole. Top with crushed Ritz crackers. Melt 1/2 cup margarine. Pour over top of crackers. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
